Well Hi,

My name is Danielle and I am 21 years old. I grew up in a small town just outside of Vancouver, B.C and continue to live here. Ever since I can remember art has been a part of my life. From listening to music, sketching and painting, taking photographs, or any other form it may come in, art is my therapy. I have dabbled in a few different types of art in my life but the ones that have seemed to stick are drawing, painting and photography. All of the photos on this site have been taken by me, as well as all artwork has been done by me at my home studio. The styles that I choose differ from every piece and every photo series, though in everything I produce my main goal is always to capture emotion.

When it comes to my writing, there isn’t much planning involved. I try to say exactly how I feel and exactly how I would say it to a friend, just maybe with a few less curse words. I have always been passionate about writing and I feel that it plays a huge part in expressing ones feelings, even if it’s about something insignificant. This is my outlet and I try to keep things as real and as humorous as possible.

Expressing oneself through a public platform is a strange thing to do, though it seems it has become the most popular way of doing it. I have decided to try this out and put my life on display for all to see. I share my travels, my artwork, my struggles, all with no bull-shit. I am not looking to give you a glamorous story when what I had experienced was not glamour. I am committed to showing everyone what life as an artist and a traveler with a sensitive heart is all about, the good and the bad.

So if you’re reading this now I hope you continue coming back for more and I hope my life isn’t too boring of a blog for you.
