blankets, fires & dogs

As I’ve been out taking more photos, I’ve noticed that in any of my free time I’ll find myself out in the woods or driving to a new lake. I used to think that if I worked that day I wouldn’t have any time to do anything else. As I push myself to get out and do more things it’s made me realize that I have always had the time to do these things and that I was just being a lazy little shit and making excuses for myself. My point is that there’s always time to go out and do the things you enjoy as long as you have the motivation to do so. It’s a matter of making time for the things that make you happy and as you do it more often, the happier you’ll be and the easier it will be to continue doing it. Wake up early and go watch that sunrise or stay up late and go watch the stars and moon. Granted, I’m the type of person who is functional off of two hours of sleep, but if it matters that much to you you’ll find a way to make it fit into your life.

I was lucky enough to have the day off with my best friend so we decided to spend some time down at Devils Lake, B.C. We took our pups and a fire in a box and set off on the road.
